UM6P - University Mohammed VI Polytechnic

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), a cutting-edge Moroccan university, is dedicated to developing innovative solutions addressing the specific challenges of Africa and, more broadly, global issues. Focused on education and research, while cultivating close partnerships with the industrial sector and fostering innovation and entrepreneurial development, UM6P is firmly committed to training a new generation of talent destined to shape the future of the African continent. Organisation’s role in the project

UM6P leads WP3 and runs the Moroccan Living Lab in Benguerir, where it pilots agroecology-cum-agrivoltaics in a semi-arid setting and develops a low-cost, IPCC Tier 3-compliant SOC MRV pipeline to enable smallholder access to voluntary carbon markets.
