Regenerating Ecosystems, Cultivating Food, Harvesting Energy

The AgriPV-Nexus project is a research initiative designed to promote sustainable agroecology across the Mediterranean by integrating farming with solar energy production. By establishing Living Labs in Portugal, Morocco, Tunisia, and Türkiye, the project co-develops climate-resilient practices specifically tailored to the needs of smallholder farmers. These nature-tech solutions utilise solar panel shading to improve soil health, conserve water through harvesting systems, and increase land-use efficiency.

This project is part of the PRIMA programme supported by the European Union.
